Itinerary

Day 1

After arrival in srinagar move towards Gulmarg . Stop by at Tangmarg on the way for some tea and snacks. Feed your cameras with picturesque beauty of Tangmarg. Further proceed to Gulmarg. Check in at Hotel. Get fresh and explore Gold club, children’s park and maharajah palace in Gulmarg. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Next Day after breakfast Board Gondola cable car ride and visit Kongdori at phase 1 and Affarwat at phase 2. May do skiing/ sledging and snow biking at phase 1. Return to main town again May also explore Famous church, Temple, Ngeen valley and strawberry valley. Please note for local convenience one has to rely on Poneys and atv rides to explore other places in Gulmarg and one should always take advice from travel experts for Rates for the same to avoid exploitation. Later in evening drive towards sonamarg, “The meadow of Gold” via Sumbal byepass. A journey of 120 kms shall be covered in about 3 hour time.

Day 3

Next day visit Thajwas Glacier on poneys and Zojila pass by hiring union taxi. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Return to srinagar next day. After reaching srinagar visit Nishat, Shalimar gardens. Post lunch visit Pari mahal and Tulip garden. Explore the local handicraft market in srinagar as well. Check in at houseboat. Board shikara for one hour ride at dal lake.

Day 5

This day move towards pahalgam. On the way stop by at awantipora ruins. Visit Aru valley, Betaab valley and chandanwari in Pahalgam. Check in at Hotel for dinner and over night stay.

Day 6

This day is at leisure in Pahalgam. May visit Baisaran valley also called as mini Switzerland. One needs to hire poneys to visit Baisaran. One may also Famous Pahalgam club for all types of indoor games and activities.

Day 7

Next day drive towards katra. Pass through recently inaugurated Chenani nashri tunnel. Also enjoy the Famous rajma rice at peera. After reaching katra check in at hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8

This day is reserved for Darshan in katra. later return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
